Actually it isn't. xD I came up with this on Livestream while making a candy display-- salt water taffy was one of the suggested candies I make, then someone asked me to make a tutorial. I don't know who Toni Ellison is, but I created this tutorial based off the technique I did that night over webcam for my fans. If someone else has the same technique, I would not be surprised as it's very simple. Please don't accuse me of theft, especially for something universal like a food item. It's rude.
