This is a NBC themed snowglobe I made from a cool spice jar I found! It features the iconic spiral hill, a full moon, a rock fence, and a few pumpkins and gravestones. It's filled with white glitter and was totally sealed to prevent leaks.
The original was already given as a gift, but if you wanted something similar I would be happy to work with you! The shop I got the jar from is local, so I could probably get more if there was enough interest.
I used E6000 adhesive and let it dry overnight before adding the water. The hill and everything in it was fully baked and I've left charms in water before with no mishaps. I still have a charm I made two years ago with polymer clay and water and nothing has chipped in all this time. :3
wow this is absolutely amazing! nightmare before christmas is my all time favorite movie, and has been since i was 3, and i love this. does it really have liquid in it? (i mean, thats kind of a silly question, but im so curious) how much would you charge for another thing like this?
Thank you! It does really have liquid in it-- it's water but it's been sealed all around. Even so, it would probably still leak if you left it upside down for a while. Which I don't think someone would do anyway.
I would have to go get another one of the bottles (it's not to far, or too expensive) but it would be around $30 to do this again.
You have skills!
How do you get the hill glued to the bottom secure, and keep the clay from falling apart, even after it's baked? ouo

Wow,thanks!
I might try something Like that! <3
Did you glaze it before putting it in the jar? :3
